Research
Check authority, backlink quality, anchor profile and spam score on the listing, then verify with our domain tools.
Bid or buy now
Place a proxy bid and we bid on your behalf up to your maximum, or skip the auction entirely with Buy Now where it is offered.
Pay into escrow
Funds are held until the transfer completes. The seller is paid only once the domain is in your registrar account.
Transfer
Most transfers complete within 5–7 days. Track progress from your dashboard, with a guided push for same-registrar moves.
What to check before you bid on an expired domain
An expired domain with a strong authority score can be a shortcut — or an expensive liability. The difference usually comes down to what the domain was used for before it dropped.
1. Backlink quality, not backlink count
A domain with 40,000 links from three spam networks is worth less than one with 90 links from real publications. Run the backlink checker and look at referring domains, not raw link volume.
2. Anchor text profile
If most anchors are pharmaceutical, casino or loan terms, the domain was almost certainly used for spam and may carry a manual action. A healthy profile is mostly branded and naked-URL anchors.
3. Archive history
Check what the site actually looked like over its life. A clean business site that lapsed is very different from a domain that changed language and topic three times in two years.
4. Spam score and blacklists
Use the suspicious domain checker and blacklist lookup. Anything above a 30% spam score deserves a hard look before you bid.
5. Real traffic versus estimated traffic
Estimates on any marketplace — including this one — are modelled, not measured. Treat them as a relative signal between listings, never as a revenue forecast.
